Frozen Flowers captures flowers as they begin to wilt, decay and fade away, exploring the contrast between life and death. Photographer Melissa Cachia captures the final moments of a flower’s life, trapping their last displays of beauty in bold colours and textures among ice formations, creating a unique extension of existence.
Nurse by day, photographer every other moment, Melissa Cachia is a second year Advanced Diploma student at Photography Studies College in Melbourne. She is especially interested in macro photography.
