Absorption shows the intense concentration and focus that musicians apply to their craft. Shot by Melbourne based photographer Ray Fritz, these portraits capture musicians listening to the pieces of music that mean the most to them. It is during these moments of absorption that we see the emotional connection and reaction that people have to music. This collection brings to the printed image that which is heard and felt by musical artists.
