Sally McKay’s debut exhibition celebrates the things that exist in our local environments that we see every day, yet are totally unaware of. The artist brings her unique perspective to these strange and wonderful objects, opening viewers’ minds to the beauty and mystery that surrounds us at all times — and that we can discover if we look hard enough.
About Artist
Sally McKay worked as a portrait photographer in Sydney for 10 years before launching her career as a photographic artist. Her inspiration comes from her fascination with individual colour preferences, her introverted inclination towards creativity and mindfulness, and her love of learning. She largely creates works from artifacts found in her immediate environment. This is her debut exhibition.
