Frozen Scapes looks at the little worlds caught in the fierce storm of an overnight freeze. To the passerby, a cursory glance at a large piece of ice, or a tree frozen, is but a moment. The often unseen landscapes, patterns and hidden beauty of these minute worlds is captured exploring flora caught in the ice. Artist Sandhya Porritt lovingly freezes a tiny world grossly overlooked, or simply not noticed due to its size, in this exhibition.
About Artist
Sandhya Porritt wanders the world searching for great coffee, with camera in hand, while daydreaming and being passionately inspired by the world around her. She enjoys surrealism and explores nature looking for the unusually beautiful. When not gallivanting about, she creates and experiments with mixed media art in her studio.
