by Silvi Glattauer
In La Puna Argentina, photomedia artist Silvi Glattauer explores a personal narrative that pendulates between Australia and South America through the narrative of topography. Eternal and elusive, silent yet present, the expansive landscape provides an opportunity to disconnect from the tangible and obvious visual elements one would normally associate with traditional landscape photography. The conceptual mind can drift and float in these neverending, shadowless planes, revealing clarity towards personal identity.
