Meet the people behind Ballarat’s iconic Sovereign Hill. Tony Evans’ evocative portraits of the staff and volunteers bring to life the unique experience of working at Sovereign Hill, as well as showing the people behind the olden-day characters they portray day in, day out. Shot using only natural light, in costume, the exhibition shows just how easy it is to imagine these characters living in the real days of the Victorian gold rush.
